Chanting Ministry
WORSHIP
Our purpose is to learn and execute in the most beautiful manner possible the Byzantine chant used in all the services of our church.
We also incorporate some other types of chant and ensemble singing where appropriate. We spend time in research, study, and practice in order to prepare for chanting at all our services.
If you would like to join us at the chanting stand, you must attend our training and rehearsals. If you are a chanter with previous experience, you may discuss your interest with the Lead Chanters, and they can approve your inclusion at the chanter’s stand.
We warmly welcome experienced chanters - as well as those with good singing voices who are interested in learning this sacred art.
